Molex-to-Molex extension cable

Hi to all,
I need to build a Molex-to-Molex extension cable for my bitalino's sensor. I found the MOLEX Sherlock connector on your on-line store, but i can't understand if i need some kind of crimp tool or the Pico-EZmate crimp pins to instal them.
Also, in your experience, to reduce the drop in the signal-to-noise ratio is best to extende cables between mcu and sensors board or between electrodes and sensors board?

Hi there,

To build that cable there may be other methods, however, what we have tested so far and is guaranteed to work is using crimp pins and clamp them to the cable using a crimp tool. In effect, for your cable you'd need the crimp tool + cable + the following:

You can also choose to order a RJ22 to Molex cable of greater length:

From our experience, the smallest the cable length you use, the better the signal-to-noise ratio. This goes not only for the connection between the MCU and the sensors, but also for the connection between the sensors and the electrodes as well.
