Meet the SnapBITs

Postby BITalino » Thu Dec 10, 2015 9:11 pm

Hi gang,

Very few people love cables and we're no exception; that's why we're introducing the SnapBITs... a family of accessories designed to offer you an alternative to the 2-lead and/or 3-lead cables.

All of them have snaps compatible with the standard electrodes shipped together with the kits.

On the SnapBIT DUO you get IN+, IN-, and a pin for the REF lead (which you can also connect via the system). On the SnapBIT TRIO and DELTA you have two different configurations to get IN+, IN-, and REF.

The sensors can connect directly to the SnapBITs or use a Molex (3-pin) - Molex (3-pin) extension cable.

We're looking forward to hear about your projects with BITalino & the SnapBITs, and hope you find them as useful as we do. If you have any questions or need additional information we'll be on this end to support ;)

Enjoy,
The BITalino Team

Hi there

I am prototyping for an EKG device. What are the dimensions of the SnapBITs? I will have to design them into our device therefore I need to know the dimensions and make sure they fit with our electrodes. Is this information available?

Thank you.

Hi there,

For your greatest convenience we've just uploaded the source files for the SnaptBIT to our GitHub account:
https://github.com/BITalinoWorld/schematics-SnapBIT-DUO
https://github.com/BITalinoWorld/schematics-SnapBIT-TRIO
https://github.com/BITalinoWorld/schematics-SnapBIT-DELTA

Anyway, the approximate size for each of the SnapBITs (give or take one millimetre) is as follows:

> SnapBIT DUO: 41 x 12 x 4
> SnapBIT TRIO: 70 x 12 x 4
> SnapBIT DELTA: 35 x 35 x 4

Hope you find this information useful for the goals you are pursuing. If you need additional details, let us know.

Best regards,
The BITalino Team
