Why are there 2- and 3-lead electrode cables?

Postby BITalino » Sun Sep 08, 2013 3:58 pm

The 2-lead electrode cable is meant to be used with the Electrodermal Activity (EDA) sensor.

The 3-lead electrode cable is meant to be used with the Electromyography (EMG) and Electrocardiography (ECG) sensors.

Note that you can always trim the cables that are supplied to your desired length or even create your own electrode cables.

Hi, unfortunately I am new to these EDA, EMG and ECG concepts. Is there a diagram about where I can put these electrodes on the body ? Sorry for the stupid question ...
