Unity trigger outputs

Postby gustavobica » Wed Oct 19, 2016 8:17 am

Hi!

I'm trying to trigger one buzzer using unity, the problem is, I dont know how. As far as i could understand, the sdk and examples that are out there, only show/explain how to retrieve data. Not only that, but I saw multiple times a reference to a function trigger, which was supose to trigger the outputs. It seems that that fuction does not exist in unity (but exists in Android and Matlab). Does any one know how can I trigger the outputs? In this particular case a buzzer?

Thanks in advance!

Hi there,

The Unity API has been community-contributed, reason for which the author may be able to provide much more effective support.

Nevertheless, if you can already establish a connection with BITalino from Unity, the digital outputs can be triggered by sending one byte to the device.

Depending on your version of BITalino, the byte structure used to trigger the digital outputs is slightly different. Please check here:
http://bitalino.com/datasheets/REVOLUTION_MCU_Block_Datasheet.pdf
http://bitalino.com/datasheets/MCU_Block_Datasheet.pdf

In the BITalino (r)evolution data sheet, you'll find the byte structure in Fig. 6, while on the BITalino data sheet you'll find the byte structure in Fig. 5.

Best regards,
The BITalino Team
