Bluetooth Troubleshoot (Windows) - Choosing Bluetooth Adapter

Postby PGoncalves » Thu Jul 30, 2015 12:47 pm

You can use the internal Bluetooth adapter on your computer to connect to any PLUX Device (BITalino, biosignalsplux, motionplux and others). However, if you notice a great number of disconnects, you might need to use one of our Bluetooth adapters that have been tested and are known to work with our devices.

Many standard Bluetooth adapters have shown severe limitations when dealing with the data transfer rates required by our devices; our Bluetooth V3.0 + HS adapters enable data rates up to 24 Mbps, which are more than enough.

If you decide to use an external Bluetooth adapter and your machine already has an internal Bluetooth adapter, keep in mind that the last one will be (should be) automatically disabled by Windows.

That is the reason why one of your Bluetooth Adapters under Bluetooth in Device Manager (check is displaying a yellow warning icon stating: Code 10 - This device cannot start.
