[Firmware Check] Communication with the device was lost

Postby Watto » Wed Aug 19, 2015 7:52 am

Hello guys,
I followed the OpenSignals_(r)evolution_Manual and have some issues to check my firmware.
I use "Plux Firmware Update Tool v1.2". After clicking the "Find Devices" button the MAC address appears. Then I click the "Check" button and receive this message:

The communication with the device was lost. Verify that the device is within range and turned on.

The device is within range and turned on.
I removed the device from my current Bluetooth adapter and reconnected it.
I don't use a third-party Bluetooth stack.
I already recorded ECG signals without any problems.

Thanks for your help and
best regards,
Watto

Hi Watto,

The PLUX Firmware Update Tool only works with our flagship biosignalsplux product line:
http://biosignalsplux.com/index.php/en/

To update the firmware on your BITalino you need to follow the instructions described here:
https://github.com/BITalinoWorld/firmware-bitalino

Nevertheless if you purchased your device recently, the firmware should be up-to-date.

Best regards,
The BITalino Team
