Hi,

I have Ubuntu 16.04 LTS and installed OpenSignals (v2017). However, I am unable to run it. The following error massage appears when I try to run it through the terminal:

"Traceback (most recent call last):

Any idea of what might be the cause of this error and how to fix it?

I've check the chrome browser version and it is updated.

Thanks!

Hi Vania,

As per the error, there is a permission denied on a file you have locally, so it may be that in the past you have ran OpenSignals with a different user/permissions, which has created the file with different permissions.

IOError: [Errno 13] Permission denied: '/home/vania/Documents/OpenSignals (r)evolution/configurations/security'

An easy fix would be to simply remove that directory (it does contain your OpenSignals settings, so those will be lost).

Code: Select all

rm -rf "/home/vania/Documents/OpenSignals (r)evolution/"
