Cannot interact with Opensignals (r)evolution

Postby Treacleman » Sun Jan 28, 2018 1:47 pm

Hi!
I've just downloaded the newest version of Opensignals (r)evolution, as it has been a couple of years since I last used my Bitalino and I am attempting to connect it to my new PC via a Bluetooth dongle. However, while the installation appeared to be successful, on opening the software, I cannot interact with the window or click on any of the menu options! I have tried both the 64-bit and 32-bit versions, running both ordinarily and as an Administrator. Any thoughts?
Thanks!
Joseph Russell

Hello Joseph,

We are having some issues with the links on bitalino webpage.
Please download the correct software version from here http://biosignalsplux.com/en/software.

The best regards

Fantastic, thanks for your quick response! I'm now, however, struggling with the Bluetooth connection.
I'm using this dongle https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01D3Q0228/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
But keep getting the error message "No Bluetooth adapter was found." My machine does not have an internal adapter. I have attached screenshots of my Device Manager screen and what I see when I try to update my driver as described in the Troubleshooting - there is no option for "Generic Bluetooth Adapter".
Any thoughts on what I should do? Thank you!

Hi Joseph,

It doesn't seem to be a problem. Have you tried to use the OpenSignals to detect your device?

You can also use this software to install all the missing bluetooth drivers (http://bluetoothinstaller.com/)
