More mobile than using this on a PC, why not have a Python version that runs on a PI?

BITalino can actually be interfaced to any Bluetooth-enabled device (Raspberry PI included).

We'd advise you to keep an eye on our "Anatomy" page given that pretty soon we'll be releasing a simple demo code to connect BITalino to a PI.

If you'd like to do a take on that, we'll also be happy to share the BITalino communication protocol... drop us a line to: bitalino@plux.info

Following your suggestion, a Python + pySerial API and example code snippet has just been released, showing how to interact with BITalino via the Raspberry Pi UART: https://github.com/bitalino/bitalino-raspberryPi
