Buffer ACC data before sending?

Postby LvanH » Thu Jun 04, 2015 8:45 am

Hello (once again),

I as wondering if it was at all possible to reprogram a BITalino device to do the following:

- Read data from the accelerometer with a frequency of 20 Hz
- Store this data in a buffer
- Send the buffered data to a MATLAB engine when prompted by the

Code: Select all

bit.read()
command.

What I'm trying to do is read data from two devices in real-time using the MATLAB API, but it's proving to be rather difficult. Do you know of any solutions to this?

I hope to hear from you soon.

Hi Luuk,

That's definitely possible... the source code for the BITalino firmware is available on GitHub at:
https://github.com/BITalinoWorld/firmware-bitalino

You're free to tweak the sampling rate and communication protocol to better support your application.

The following threads on our forum should have useful information to help you on this process:
